The conference witnessed the presence of Abdel -Hadi Al -Qasabi, Chairman of the Social Solidarity Committee, the Family and Persons with Disabilities in the House of Representatives, and Talaat Abdul Qawi, a member of the House of Representatives and the President of the General Union of NGOs, and some members of the House of Representatives, St. Jeremiah the General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, and Dr. Ashraf Marai, the General Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Special Capabilities, Parties and Protection Associations Persons with disabilities. Nevin Al -Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, opened the conference with her speech in which she indicated that social investment is an approach adopted by the state and the political leadership to enhance the productivity and welfare of individuals in society and improve the quality of their lives in a way that achieves benefiting on a large scale, a memory that social investment is one of the basic pillars that show the commitment of all state institutions and the commitment of all citizens to all their groups and differences, towards serving our society in all aspects of life, within the framework of our tireless endeavor To achieve fair, comprehensive and sustainable development. In a related context, Dr. Nevin Al -Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, stressed during the round table for the "Conference on initiatives" that is held under the slogan "a new era for persons with disabilities in Egypt", the need to start a movement that builds on the capabilities of persons with disabilities and not their disabilities and the use of modern technology applications and digital transformation to facilitate the means of provision and achieve societal integration of persons with disabilities in order to improve the lives of persons with disabilities And the sponsors of them. Al -Kabbaj indicated that Egypt has recently endeavored to create a suitable space and climate for the concerted efforts of all segments of society from academic, legislative and other institutions, to support those with special determinants and capabilities, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which falls on December 3 of each year, which is a global day dedicated by the United Nations since 1992 to support people with disabilities, aimed at increasing their understanding of their issues. The Minister of Solidarity explained that investing in persons with disabilities results in many positive and good revenues and social and social effects, i.e. the development of society in general, and also achieves societal profit margins and qualifies society towards sustainable sustainable development by reaching the largest possible number of the target group, stressing that the ministry has taken social investment in persons with disabilities a pillar and a starting point and a general framework that works from During it and taking into account when providing its services stipulated in Law No. 10 for the year 2018 and its executive regulations, and that the political leadership confirmed that the efforts to enable our children who are able, according to an integral part of the national priorities aimed at upgrading the lives of citizens in general. The conference will discuss three axes, the first of which is "the feasibility of social investment in persons with disabilities", and the second axis discusses "the expectations and needs of persons with disabilities from Egypt's strategy for sustainable development ... Egypt's Vision 2030 and a decent life project for the development of the Egyptian countryside", while the third axis deals with "entrepreneurship, innovation and financial inclusion services ... rights for persons with disabilities."
